She was predeceased by: her parents, Hiram Staples and Annie Staples (Kemmell); her husband Adelbert Howard Rhoads; her son Richard Rhoads; and her siblings, Victor, Vincent, Milan, Archie, Earl, Katherine, Tressa, Marle, Margie, Irma, Mercedies, Dorothy, Josephine and Blanche.
She is survived by: her children, Colleen Ware (James) of Muskegon and Alvin Rhoads (Patti) of Midland, Michigan; her grandchildren, Iris Elko (Nick), Deborah Ratliff, Tammy Stephenson (Keith), Christine Strait (Matt), Laura Colburn (Billy), Brian Ware, Jonathan Rhoads (Christine) and Andrea Aldrink (Matt); and her close friends, Donna Dunbar and Laura Gansbauer. She is also survived by 14 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
