She was predeceased by: her parents, Wayne Doremire and Mabel Doremire (Perkins); her son Ed Schertenlieb; her siblings, Melv Doremire (Eleanor) and Barb Swanson (Oscar); and her husband Fred.
She is survived by: her children, Fred Schertenlieb (Brenda), Carol Taylor (Bob) and Jan Krypel (Joe); her grandchildren, Eli, Hannah Ruth, Sara, Mike, Jamie, Lisa and Tori; her great grandchild Alec; her daughter-in-law Mindy Schertenlieb; and her cousin Laura Hansen. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions in Ruth's honor should be directed to Temple United Methodist Church or Harbor Hospice.
