It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rosalind Burton (Muskegon Heights, Michigan), born in East Saint Louis, Illinois, who passed away on May 12, 2020, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, George Covington and Lee Ethel Covington; her son Thad Burton; and her siblings, George Covington Jr. and Princella Hall.
She is survived by: her son-in-law Reginald; her children, Kathy Hayes (Dartanya) of Muskegon Heights, MI, Chad Covington (Cassandra) of Muskegon, MI, Kenlana Ferguson (Reginald) of Portage, MI and Kimberly Burton of Muskegon, MI; her grandchildren, Brent Smith, Steven A. Winston, Evan Winston (Meghan), Tia Burton, Malik King, McKenzie Covington, Mckayla Covington and Reginald Jr.; her great grandchild Steven A; her siblings, Ethel Garrett, Donnell Covington and Eric Covington (Carol); and her close friend Samuel Walker. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and many close friends.
