He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Weller and Anne Weller; his sister Ann Siedenstrang; his half-brother Louis Weller Jr.; and his siblings-in-law, Jerome Willoughby, Joseph Siedenstrang and Millie Weller.

He is survived by: his siblings, Mary Ann Willoughby of Spring Lake and Carl Weller. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

“Some friends were trying to get in touch with John. We took a ride to John's house. It was sold. We found out he died. Our sympathy to Mary Ann Willoughby & family for the loss of John K Weller. My husband & I have known John for years. John lived in the same neighborhood, my husband did, near the airport. We went with John on several boat rides, and snowmobile rides. He was a good mechanic. Barbara & Gene Greenwood”
