He is survived by: his wife Brenda Barnes; his children, Deon Barton (Kelley), Sherhonda Mack, Dwonna Thomas (Michael), Brandon Tjapkes, Bridget Barnes, Brittney Barnes, Edward Barnes III and Jamie Barnes; his stepchildren, Shania Floyd (Kevin) and Crystal Burt (Henry); and his siblings, Carlen Jean Barnes (Carol), David Brown-Barnes, Mildred Lee Gill, Sara Jackson (Henry), Bonnie Ray Davis and Patsy Ruth Latin (Tommy). He is also survived by many grand children and great grandchildren.
