He is survived by: his former wife Patricia; his children, Sylvia Quarles, Delbridge Jr. Alexander (Mandy), Patrick Alexander, Daryl Alexander, Jerrell Alexander (Julia) and Marcus Alexander (Fabiola); his siblings, Joyce Champion and Henry Alexander; his niece Antoinette Champion; and his nephews, Elton Alexander and Reggie Alexander. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren; 5 step-grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren.
