With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Matthew L. Smith of Munith, Michigan, born in Ypsilanti, Michigan, who passed away on June 4, 2022 at the age of 61. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Matthew L. Smith to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Lee and Virginia Mae Smith (Robak); and his brothers, Dennis, Roger and Elmer Smith.
He is survived by: his wife Corinne Dale Smith (Schettler); his daughters, Crystal Smith of Hillsdale, MI and Carrie Wilkie (David) of Foley, Alabama; his grandchildren, Cecil Irish, Vanessa Irish, Jordon Van Sickle, Matthew Van Sickle, Rozalyn Wilkie and Davidson Hoyt; and his siblings, Eva Edge (James "Barry") of Texas and Russell Lee Smith of Detroit. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Memorial contributions may be made to Cystic Fibrosis and would be appreciated by the family.
