He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles "Bud" Hafner and Elaine J. Hafner (Ferry); his brothers, Lary and Bill; his sister-in-law Janet Hafner (Hafley) of Belleville; and his nephew Christopher.
He is survived by: his former wife Margaret A. Haworth; his children, Kevin Hafner (BreAnne) of Jackson and Jennifer Schipul (Bryan) of Munith; his siblings, Lee Hafner of Alabama, Anthony Hafner (DeAnna) of Jackson and Carol Houle (Tom) of Chelsea; his brother-in-law Robbie Canter of Ann Arbor; and his grandchildren, Conor, Landen, Aidin, Dyllan and Kerry (Boba). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
