With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Janice M. Kitley of Munith, Michigan, born in Alma, Michigan, who passed away on February 18, 2024 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Homer Hale and Ruth Hale (Gottschalk); her husband George L. Kitley; her siblings-in-law, Barb Smith, Bud Kitley and Ed Senyko; and her brother Richard Hale.
She is survived by: her children, Karla Kowalec of Munith, Cheryl Bayerl of Williamston, Ken Kitley (Tracy) of Stockbridge and Cindy Lance (Doug) of Munith; her grandchildren, Jessica Carr (Chad), Kenny Kitley (Lisa), Sam Bayerl (Kait), Cassie Watson (Josh), Georgia Bayerl, Barb Lance (Misti), Natalie Kowalec, Dalton Kitley and Isaac Lance; her great grandchildren, Layton Carr, Brady Carr, Ezra Watson, Isabel Watson and Leigh Lance-Stevens; her brother Vaughn Hale; her sisters-in-law, Janet Senyko, Connie Kitley and Elaine Hale; and her uncle Bill Gottschalk. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Cascades Humane Society or the Munith United Methodist Church.
