He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar and Pearlie Holbrook (Brown); his son Cecil Holbrook; his grandsons, Joshua Sturgill and Kyle Bradshaw; and his siblings, Hagar, Elmer Lee, May, Faye, Catherine, Edith and Ethel.
He is survived by: his wife Belle Holbrook; his children, Bessie Schertzing (Mark) of Stockbridge, Imogean Sayre (Mark) of Jackson, Vicie Sturgill (David) of Munith, Rick Holbrook (Mammie) of Grass Lake, Tessie Handshoe (Tim) of Munith and Chastty Clark (Chris) of Jackson; and his siblings, Nora Williams, Bert Holbrook of Fowlerville and Melvin Holbrook. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren, and several great-great-grandchildren.
