With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Shirley Thoune of Munising, Michigan, born in Stephenson, Michigan, who passed away on September 19, 2020 at the age of 88. She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilbert Winter and Alice Winter (Nelson); and her brother Ronnie Winter. She is survived by: her husband Alvin Thoune of Munising; her children, Dennis Thoune (Sandy) of Allen Park, MI, Bruce Thoune of Munising and Kathy Kallio (Bruce) of Chatham; her granddaughters, Brenda (Brian), Maggie (Ed), Kara, Deanna (Matt) and Makayla (Joe); her brother Lee Winter (Pat); and her sister-in-law Mary Winter. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Due to Michigan's executive orders, masks will be required, and the funeral home staff will assist with the social distance and compliance during the visitation.
