It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley Bruce of Munising, Michigan, born in Deerton, Michigan, who passed away on May 31, 2021, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Monhead and Wilma "Betty" Monhead (Craft); her husband Emil Warren Bruce; her granddaughters, Jessie, Tia and Kristy; and her siblings, John Jr., Beatrice, Albert, Ernest, Bobby, Jim, Irene and Leroy "Sam".
She is survived by: her children, Christina Fleck of Portland, OR, Phillip "Bogie" Bruce of Munising, Emil "Bootsy" Bruce, Jr. of Munising, Sara Pearce (Elliot) of Aurora, WI and Tony Bruce (Keressa) of Florida; her grandchildren, Steven, Carrie, Ken, Kory, Kristle, Bo, Brad, Randy, Sam, Dean, Tony, Nathan and Trent; and her siblings, Susie Borchert (Otto), Rosie Maki (Bernard), Roger Monhead and Fred Monhead. She is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren.
