He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Charboneau and Agnes Charboneau (Hebert); his daughter Lisa Kay Chaboneau; his sister Dorothy Bourgeois (John); and his brother-in-law Benny McGrath.
He is survived by: his pet Spike; his wife Sally Charboneau of Munising; his children, Roberta "Bertie" Dempsey (Jim) of Green Bay, WI, Kristina "Kris" Lintula (Todd) of Eben Junction and Tim Charboneau (Billie) of St. Joseph, MO; his grandchildren, Adam (Mel), Troy (Jessica), Kurt Dempsey (Lana), Ashley Ketzler (Tyler), Garrett Vieth, Joshua (Sarah) and Cole Charboneau; and his siblings, Dale Charboneau (Connie) of Munising, Gary Charboneau (Barbara) of Pollock Pines, CA, Joyce McGrath of Enid, OK, Sandra Charboneau of Grayling, MI and Larry Charboneau of Chatham. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
