With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Mary Jayne Hallifax (Munising, Michigan), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 4, 2025 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Oliver Shampine and Margaret Shampine (Gaspar); her brother Oliver Shampine; her children, Dean Hallifax and Heather Bush; and her sons-in-law, Tony Chebli and Dan Boucher.
She is survived by: her husband Richard Hallifax; her daughters, Janeen Chebli and Laurel Boucher; her grandsons, Zachary Boucher (Chelsey), Steve Bush (Ryleigh) and Kyle Bush (Kaela); and her great grandchildren, Henry, Daniel and Arlie.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in Mary Jayne's name may be made to the Alger County Animal Shelter.
