She was predeceased by: her son-in-law Rick Ryan; and her siblings, Betty Deroucher, Dennis, Ronny and Sheldon Adair.
She is survived by: her husband Edward Vertz; her children, Cindy Ryan of Munising, Dean Vertz (Carla) of Three Rivers, MI, Dennis Vertz (Kay) of Munising and Joan Brisson (George) of Munising; her grandchildren, Karen, Kathy, Billy, Robert, Marenzie, Michael, Blair, Jamie, Daniel, Lindsey, Travis, Rachel, Erica and Danielle; her siblings, Darrell Adair of Marquette, Dorothy Masters of Melstrand, Karen Beauchaine (Mel) of Wetmore and Judy Migazzi (Mike) of Iron Mountain; and her brother-in-law Bob Deroucher of Monroe, MI. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
