He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell Steinhoff and Grace Steinhoff (Gollinger); his significant other Joan L. Moreau; his son-in-law Craig Sellars; his siblings, Margaret Britton (Clifford), Lois "Marie" Maki (Thomas "Leonard"), Lillian Moreau (Charles), George "Jug" Steinhoff (Cleo), Robert Steinhoff and Franklin "Chum" Steinhoff; and his siblings-in-law, Marcia Jaster, John Moreau and Robert Moreau (Mary).
He is survived by: his daughters, Debra Sellars, Linette Neumeyer (Gary Chuhran), Mari McKellip (Patrick) and Alice Karpinski (Frank); his grandchildren, Richard Neumeyer II, David Gerard, Sari Custer (Bryan), Wesley Gerard (Darcee Lynch), Ali, Youssef Elghoul, Levi Karpinski (Shannon Smith), Frank Karpinski II, Ariah Schugat, Zayn and Mohammed Alaoui; his great grandchildren, Richard III (Celia), Rylee, Jacklin, Meagan, Ayden, Victoria, Carson, Harper, Harlee and Serenity; his brother Edward "Vernie" Steinhoff (Susie); and his sisters-in-law, Kay Moreau and Marjorie Steinhoff.
