He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Hanson and Hazel Hanson (McEachern); his brother Leonard "Umpty" Hanson; and his sister-in-law Cindy Hanson. He is survived by: his siblings, Bob Hanson (Pam) of Ishpeming, Cheryl Lane (Dennis) of Deerton, Mary Hanson of Harvey, Kathy Haglund (Bill) of Harvey, Kris Hanson of Sundell and Bill Hanson (Lisa) of Shelter Bay. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews.
