She was predeceased by: her parents, William LaFave and Elizabeth LaFave (Hebert); her husband Charlie; her daughters, Regina Adair (Dennis) and Kathy Glatus; her grandson Roger Adair; her siblings, Derilda Tussing (Hank), Exilda Theaker (Donovan), Dorothy Swajanen (Willie), Jack LaFave, Ernest "Shorty" LaFave, Lawrence "Stowe" LaFave (Maxine) and Robert "Mogie" LaFave; and her brother-in-law John Carr.
She is survived by: her former husband Charles Paananen; her children, Victoria "Diane" Waters of Marquette, Charla Heiler (Philip) of Westland, MI and Richard Paananen (Jolene) of Munising; her son-in-law Tom Glatus of Rapid River; her grandchildren, Theresa, Kimberly, Tracy, Alan, Melissa, Brian, Alexander, Wesley, Richard, Troy and Joseph; her sister Ruth Carr; and her sister-in-law Norma LaFave. She is also survived by eleven great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
