It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Janice H. Belen of Munising, Michigan, who passed away on December 19, 2024, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husbands, Howard Stahlecker and Jules Belen; her daughter Carol Claudine; her brother Francis "Pete" Posont; and her son-in-law Ken Garrett.
She is survived by: her children, Joan Garrett of Munising, Karl Stahlecker (Tracey) of Huntsville, AL and Brenda Eichhorn (Phillip) of Taylor, MI; her granddaughters, Breanna Thomas (David), Chantelle Maynard and Tekla Stahlecker; her great grandchildren, Nathan, Abigail, Lilly, Liam and Owen; and her siblings, Rita Anderson, Duane "Picky" Posont (Arlene), Lorraine Hawley, Larry Posont and Terry Posont. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
