He was predeceased by: his mother Amorette; his brother Ron Miron; and his father Michael Ocran. He is survived by: his children, Adorée Miron (George Duquesnel) of Delton, MI, Mari Jo Sadak (Mark) of Munising, Stephanie Killips (Rod) of Christmas, Louis Miron (Chrissy) of Prattville, AL and Doug Miron (Jackie) of Sparta, MI; his grandchildren, Mitchell Duquesnel (Samantha), Peter Duquesnel (Sawyer Rufullo), Raquel Soyad (Ted), Marcus Sadak (Jenny), Maggie Thoune, Adoree Berg (Steven), Jordan Miron (Mirissa Eiseman), Michael Miron (Alexis), Matthew Miron, Stephan Miron (Danielle), Nicholas Miron, Amy Lord (Peter) and Joshua Miron; and his great grandchildren, Vinnie, Ava, Tucker, Lavender, Sullivan, Cloie, Karson, Marlee, Adlee and Haislee. He is also survived by numerous cousins; and generations of lifelong friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Bowerman Funeral Home (302 E Superior St, Munising, MI 49862). A prayer was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A Mass was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Sacred Heart Church (110 W Jewell St, Munising, MI 49862).
In lieu of flowers, memorials are requested to be made in Doug's memory to the U.P. Honor Flight, 7508 J Road, Gladstone, Michigan 49837.
