It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy Nebel of Munising, Michigan, born in Grand Marais, Michigan, who passed away on June 11, 2020, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Spencer and Jenni Spencer; her husband Robert; her son Sherm; and her siblings, Lionel, Ed, Robert Spencer, Gloria Piippo and Susan Pangborn.
She is survived by: her children, Stephen Nebel of Munising, Shelley Nebel of Keizer and Shirley Phillips of Keizer; her granddaughters, Liz (Mark Beckman) of Marquette and Marie (Doug Schwalm) of Normal; her great grandchildren, Douglas (Chelsea), Jonathon, Laura Beckman, Gabrielle and Robert Schwalm; and her daughter-in-law Marlene Nebel of Anchorage, Alaska..
Due to Covid-19, a memorial service will be held at a later date.
