Brenda Matzen Obituary
We are sad to announce that on December 31, 2020, at the age of 51, Brenda Matzen of Munising, Michigan passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Brenda Matzen to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her father Robert Latvala; her mother-in-law Vivian Shepley; and her grandparents, Ruth Latvala Fitzgerald, Charlie, June Tyner and Winolla Shepley.
She is survived by: her former husband Nicholas J. Matzen; her pets, Ashley and Gracie; her husband Nick Matzen of Munising; her daughters, Nikki Matzen of Munising and Faith Matzen of Iron Mountain; her mother Christine Latvala of Munising; her brother Rob Latvala of Munising; her grandchildren, Serena, Benjamin, Arianna and Hunter; and her close friend Karen Mellon (Scott) of Christmas. She is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
CoVid precautions and attendance regulations will be observed as directed by the MDHHS. Masks will be required, and the funeral home staff will be assisting with social distancing and attendance restrictions.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are requested to be made directly to the family.
