She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Niemi and Martha Niemi; her husband Waino; her children, Timmy, Terry and Tracy; and her siblings, Darlene Ross and Wayne Niemi.
She is survived by: her children, Tammy Huotari, Tina Fox (Jonathan), Todd Huotari (Lisa) and Tricia Cleary (Scott); and her siblings, Lois Burt, Eino Niemi and Judy Hiltunen.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 27th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the St. Pauls Lutheran Church (1409 Ridge Ave, Mass City, MI 49948). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 27th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A celebration of life was held on Friday, September 27th 2024 at 4:00 PM at the VFW Post 5600 (915 River St, Ontonagon, MI 49953). A graveside service was held on Friday, September 27th 2024 at 5:00 PM at the Maple Grove Cemetery.
