She was predeceased by: her parents, Dolph Bovan and A. Winifred Bovan (Doucette); her husband Joe; her daughter Teresa Rousseau; and her siblings, John Bovan and Mary Kathleen Bovan.

She is survived by: her former husband Joseph Rousseau, Jr.; her children, Michael Rousseau (Vicki) of Mason, MI, James Rousseau (Pamela) of Ocala, FL, Josette Tanner (John) of Ovid, MI, David Rousseau (Tammie) of Interlochen, MI and Mary Jo Latvala (Brian) of Menominee, MI; and her grandchildren, Stephen, Michelle, Richard, Nicole, Jodi, Patrick, Melissa, Andy, Arianna, Terra, Breaunna, Jay and Kwaun. She is also survived by numerous great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.
