He was predeceased by: his parents, Odisseas Mellios and Bessie Mellios (Psaltis); his son Nickolas Mellios; his stepson Randy Ginther; and his sister Angeline "Kiki" Demas.
He is survived by: his wife Ruth; his son Ritchie Ginther (Tina); and his grandchildren, Kayla Towery and Danica Ginther.
