He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Walter Sr. Smialek and Francis Smialek (Maze); his wife Marilynn Smialek; his children, Steven Smialek and Linda Munchiando; his granddaughters, Kira Munchiando and Ashley Betts; his stepgrandson Joe Elwart; and his great grandchildren, Tatum Verikas and Harper Verikas.
