It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Vance Randall Robinson in Mount Pleasant, Michigan, born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on November 11, 2023, at the age of 64, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin Robinson and Norma "Stout" Robinson; and his sister Cheryl "Stacy" Lopez. He is survived by: his wife Mary "Island" Robinson; his daughters, Jamie Rzepecki (Mark) and Sheila Sachs (Randy); his grandchildren, Jenavieve Lusby, Jaclyn Lusby and Stanley Sachs; and his brothers, Robbie Robinson (Yvette), Ronald Robinson and Robert Robinson (Elaine). He is also survived by many extended family and dear friends.
When gatherings in coffee shops were shut down during Covid, he opened his shop as a location for friends to meet, have their morning coffee and donuts, while shooting the bull and solving the world's problems.
