She was predeceased by: her father Lyle VanOrden; her sister Tammy VanOrden; her sister-in-law Sue VanOrden; and her pet Shadow. She is survived by: her mother Helen Seeley of Mt. Pleasant; her husband Chuck Ferris; her children, Candy Ferris of Mt. Pleasant, Casey Ferris (Erin) and Shawn Ferris (Rebecca Taylor) of Petoskey; and her siblings, Dennis VanOrden (Michele) of Mt. Pleasant, Denice Courser (Bill) of Mt. Pleasant, Jerry VanOrden (Renee) of Bad Axe, Clifford VanOrden, Donna VanOrden of Mt. Pleasant, Brenda Martinez (Angelo) of Swartz Creek, Wendy Cook (Darrin) of Flint and Cindy Seeley of Mt. Pleasant. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild.
