We bid farewell to Sue Ann (Sponseller) Cotton of Mount Pleasant, Michigan, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on April 21, 2025 at the age of 85. Sue Ann touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, George Sponseller and Winifred Sponseller (Smith); her husband Peter Jennings Cotton; her brother Lester Sponseller; her sister-in-law Judith Sponseller; and her in-laws, Arlene and James Cotton.
She is survived by: her children, Ann Ehrman (Todd), John Cotton (Mona) and Timothy Cotton (Kristin Moutsatson); her grandchildren, Cody Sampson (Cheyenne), Keegan Ehrman, Alayna Cotton, Ashley Cotton and Conner Wood (Kelsey); her great grandchild Josephine Wood; her siblings, Kirk Sponseller (Nancy Priestap), George Sponseller (Sherry) and Kay Rieck (Richard); and her brother-in-law Jim Cotton (Joan). She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 9th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, May 10th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Charles R. Lux Family Funeral Home (2300 S Lincoln Rd, Mt Pleasant, MI 48858). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, May 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
