It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Glenn Heinlein of Mount Pleasant, Michigan, who passed away on September 19, 2022, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Lemanuel Heinlein and Phyllis Heinlein (Spurrier); his wife Barbara McLachlin; his daughter Kaye Bahr (Andy); and his siblings, Jim, Bill, Ralph, Betty, Janet and Sandy.
He is survived by: his children, Don Heinlein (Diane) of Mt. Pleasant, Dave Heinlein (Kasey) of Mt. Pleasant and Janet Mogg (Randy) of Weidman; his grandchildren, Chris Lyon, Matt Lyon, Stephanie Gerth, Mike Heinlein, Jeremy Heinlein, Caleb Heinlein, Hanna Heinlein, Austin Leach and Josh Leach; and his sisters, Marge Dickie of Clare, Joann Bellingar of Mt. Pleasant and Carol Browne of Mt. Pleasant. He is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren; 6 great-great-grandchildren.
