He was predeceased by: his parents, James "Buddy" Pego and Grace Pego (Rapp); his son Isaac Pego; his son-in-law Daniel Otter Robe; his sister Elaine Pego-Shawnoo; his nephew Allen "Mushie" Pego, Jr.; and his nieces, Terri Paul and Segwen Traver.
He is survived by: his wife June Pego (Bowie); his children, Jacqueline Haught (Brandon), Robert Pego, Jr. (Bernice) and Olivia Otter Robe; his grandchildren, Sarah Shomin, Cory Gaskill, Gracie Davidson, Caden Pego, Wabigwan Pego, Sienna Pego, Ezekiel Haught, Isaiah Haught, Jeremiah Haught, Robert Pego III, Amaris Haught and Daniel Otter Robe; and his siblings, Steve Pego (Mae), Allen Pego (Diane), Scott Pego, Sam Pego and Faith Carmona-Pego (Tony Carmona). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
