He was predeceased by: his parents, Leotis Brown and Martha Brown (Thorn); and his siblings, Elmer, Lawrence, Kenneth Brown and Leota Scott.
He is survived by: his wife Colleen Brown of Barryton; his children, Roger Brown of Mecosta, Phillip Brown, Jr. of Barryton, Scott Brown of Mt. Pleasant, Christopher Pritchard (Sarah Grimsley) of Ohio and Kristen Laufenberg of Wausau, WI; and his siblings, Elmus "Al" Brown of Bay City and Leona Aumick of Nashville, MI. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren.
