He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Kahl and Laura Lee Smith (Bosco). He is survived by: his children, Kahl Smith of Mt. Pleasant, Denny Smith of Mt. Pleasant, Kevin Smith of Mt. Pleasant and Alexandra Smith of Northville; his grandchildren, Amber, Annabelle, Addison and Orion; and his sister Arla Schumacher of Cadillac.
