He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Johns and Nettie Johns (Bartlett); his wife Marilyn Johns; and his brother Robert Monroe Johns. He is survived by: his children, Michael Johns of Denmark, Nancy Domeyer (Richard) of Dewitt, Alan Johns (Kathy) of Mt. Pleasant and David Johns of Mt. Pleasant; and his grandchildren, Erin Domeyer, Jeffery Domeyer (Jannene), Emily Byrne (Conor), Brian Johns, Seth Johns, Travis Johns (Katelyn), Ryan Johns and Ashley Jarrett. He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the L.A. and Marilyn B. Johns Family Fund at the Mt. Pleasant Area Community Foundation.
