She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Simons and Ruth Simons (Joutsi); and her son Frederick Scott Kowalske. She is survived by: her husband Frederick Kowalske; her daughter-in-law Margaret Zelinski (Larry Cohorst) of Clare; her granddaughters, Tiffany Barber (Rickey) of Clare and Nicole Hoenstine (Jeff Whalen) of Clare; and her great grandchildren, Chloe Barber, Sophia Barber, Aubree Whalen and Jackson Whalen.
