She was predeceased by: her parents, Herbert VanWormer and Pauline VanWormer (Winters); her husband Ernest Ugartechea; and her siblings, Richard VanWormer, Karen Harris and Beverly Kassin.

She is survived by: her daughters, Wendy Whisman (Chris Ladner) and Kimberly Bigelow (Brian Crawfis); her grandsons, Aaron Whisman, Mark Sutter and David Bigelow; her great grandchildren, Willow Whisman, Annaliisa Dale Newman, Isabella Sutter and Joey Strombeck; and her sister Connie Maturen. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and other loving family and friends and her beloved dogs.
