She is survived by: her husband James Schafer of Mt. Pleasant; her children, Margaret DeOliveira, Maureen Harke (Alan), Matthew Schafer, Melinda Schafer, Marcus Schafer (Lakshmi Subramanian), Melissa Tandel (Pratik), Michelle Davis (Daniel) and Mary Jiovani (Joseph); her grandchildren, Alexandro, Gabriela, Eduardo DeOliveira, Dillon, Sarah, Colleen Harke, Kalia, Isaiah Schafer, Avni, Niaa Tandel, Katelyn and Gabriel Jiovani; and her siblings, Patricia Tilmann and Gerald Tilmann (Gary Steiner).
