She was predeceased by: her parents, Bruce Alderink and Joyce Alderink (Howlett); her sister Nancy Winkler (Dennis); and her nephew DJ. She is survived by: her daughters, Mary Schuitema (Joshua) and Bethany McGlinchey (Jordan) of Corunna; her grandchildren, Karlee of Heaven, SJ, Adira, Phoenix and Freya; and her siblings, Thomas Alderink, James Alderink (Diane), Sue Parris (Craig), Mary VanDenbug, Lori Alderink (Bruce Stinson) of Trufant and Amy Alderink. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
