She was predeceased by: her parents, Bruno August and Barbara Ann Persyn (LaBlanc); her husband William Rush; and her siblings, Victor Persyn, Sylvia Baker, Bruno Persyn, Carolyn Dunford and Donna Dunford.
She is survived by: her children, Donald Beck (Dennis Andrews) of High Point, NC, Cindy Savino (John) of Grand Rapids and Carolyn Reinking (Scott) of Mt. Pleasant; her grandchildren, Preston DesJardins, Bryan DesJardins, Stone Reinking and Madison Reinking; her great grandchild Kennedy Mae DesJardins; her siblings, Helena Bezzina (Ray) of Las Vegas, NV, Bobby Persyn (Jo) of Clare and Jimmy Persyn (Dawn) of Clare; and her in-laws, Robert Baker of Holland, Kim Persyn of Florida and John Dunford of Kentucky. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, March 27th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Charles R. Lux Family Funeral Home (2300 S Lincoln Rd, Mt Pleasant, MI 48858). A funeral service was held on Thursday, March 27th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
