She was predeceased by: her parents, Grover Allen and Mary Allen (Whitenack); and her husband Mitchell Deaton. She is survived by: her son Michael Deaton (Sandy) of Mt. Pleasant; her grandchildren, Christi Higgins (John) of Fort Eustis, VA and Sean Deaton of Baltimore, MD; her great grandchild John Michael Higgins; and her siblings, Grover Allen of Dayton, OH and Mary Catherine Morton of Kalamazoo.
