He was predeceased by: his parents, George Clapp and Elaine Clapp (Halsell); and his siblings, Skeezix, Donna and Joann.
He is survived by: his wife Diana Wilson of Paul's Episcopal Church; his children, Sue Joyce, Marc Clapp (Tracie) and Todd Clapp; his grandchildren, Jordan, Dustin and Andrew; and his siblings-in-law, Gino Rossetti of Colorado, Stan Glover of Rhode Island and Shirley Wilson of Harrison.
