He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Streng and Dorothy Streng (Andres); his grandparents, Michael, Elizabeth Streng, Peter and Mary Andres; his sisters, Vera Vogler and Patricia Fate; and his siblings-in-law, Bob Fate and Joan Faber.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia Faber; his children, Donald Streng (Teressa) of Ann Arbor, James Streng (Michelle) of Beal City, Keith Streng (Kim) of Commerce Township, Tom Streng (Sharon), Luann Desautel (Christopher) of San Rafael, CA, Rose Buczkowski (David) of Sparta, Mary Franz (Greg) of Johnstown, OH, Paul Streng (Rebecca) of Rochester Hills, Kenneth Streng (Dave Howland) of Novi and Sheryl Coltson (Brian) of Midland; his sisters, Maxine Finnerty (Bob) of Beal City and Geraldine Schafer (Dick) of Beal City; and his brothers-in-law, Rod Vogler of Auburn Hills and Frederick Faber (Erma) of Grand Rapids.
