Ellen Louise Wilson Obituary
The memory of Ellen Louise Wilson (Mount Pleasant, Michigan), who passed away on March 31, 2025 at the age of 76, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her son Adam Kaniszewski; her parents, Victor Engelhardt and Dora Engelhardt; and her brother Wayne Engelhardt. She is survived by: her significant other Larry Wilson; her nephews, Grant Moellenkamp (Pauline), Chad Young and Jordan Young; her siblings, Nancy Nowak (Chuck) and Donn Engelhardt; her children, Anthony Moses Tomke Harjes (Andre) and Britta Overhage-Breski (Dirk); her close friend Martha Shinners; and her nephew Kirk Olson (Tuya). She is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews, and treasured friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 9th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Thursday, April 10th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM. A celebration of life was held on Thursday, April 10th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Immanuel Lutheran Church (320 S Bradley St, Mt Pleasant, MI 48858). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 10th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
Memorial contributions may be made to Immanuel Lutheran Church or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
