He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward F. Henkes and Marie T. Henkes (Casey). He is survived by: his brothers, William Henkes (Kim) of Chicago, IL and John (Lynn Ann) of Chicago, IL; his adoptive sons, Kenneth (Shelly), Timothy (Leona), Rick (Isannah), Michael S. (Sandy), Terry (Brandi), Justin, Michael C. (Samantha) and Shawn (Magdalena); his nieces, Tricia, Katie and Nicole; his nephew Jeffrey; and his grandchildren, Father Don, Levi, Quinn, Orianna, Elianna and Rickey.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Sacred Heart Academy Foundation (for tuition assistance) or to the Isabella County Homeless Shelter.
