With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Don Carlyle Rust of Mount Pleasant, Michigan, who passed away on November 21, 2022 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Rust and Kathryn Rust (Ross); his son Don Rust, II; and his brother John Rust. He is survived by: his wife Sharon Rust (Myers) of Mt. Pleasant; his sons, Jerald Rust of Lansing, Tom Gorby (Michelle) of St. Johns and John Gorby of Portland; his daughter-in-law Carol Rust of Lansing; his siblings, Howard Rust (Charlene) of Beaverton, OR, Carl Rust (Robin) of Elkhart, IN and Karen Jarvis of Lima, OH; and his sister-in-law Joanne Myers of Grand Ledge. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren.
