She was predeceased by: her parents, Ivan Gates and Shirley Gates (Grubb). She is survived by: her daughters, Kalynn Gates of Mt. Pleasant and Detera Carll of Mt. Pleasant; her grandchildren, Jacob, Kacey, Mia, Emma, Angel, Heaven, Blake, Braxton, Megan, Zaidyn and Zekial; her great grandchild Jasper; and her siblings, Scott Alan Gates of Lake, Gerolyn Freeze, II (Ray) of Mt. Pleasant, Penny Yuncker (Terry) of Shepherd and Robert Gates (Susan) of Mt. Pleasant. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Clark Family Funeral Chapel & Cremation Service (114 S Bradley St, Mt Pleasant, MI 48858). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location.
