It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Deane K. Kent (Mount Pleasant, Michigan), who passed away on December 24, 2024, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Constance Kent (LaBelle) and Kenneth Kent; his brother Terrence Kent; his cousin Bobby Kent; his in-laws, Eva Danielson and Mike Danielson; and his nephew Scott Kent.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Danielson; his children, Taneille Hohlbein (Ryan), JoDeane Turnwald (Andy) and Logan Kent (Wendy); his grandchildren, Avery Hohlbein (Brittany), Sydney, Riley Hohlbein, Isaac, Audrey Turnwald, Jake, Kyleigh and Lily Methner; his great grandchild Liam Hohlbein; his siblings, Roger Kent (Sharon), Donald Kent and Cheryl Swartz (Roland); and his in-laws, Bob Danielson (Kim) and Danette Danielson. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to L'Anse High School Athletic Department, 201 N. 4th Street, L'Anse, MI 49946, in memory of Deane Kent.
