He was predeceased by: his parents, Santos DeLaCruz and Maria DeLaCruz (Carmona); his brothers, Danny, Able, Lupe, George, Oscar and Rudolfo; and his niece Arthina.
He is survived by: his wife Joni DeLaCruz; his children, Clara Vela, David Andrew DeLaCruz-Slavik, Jamiell Slavik, Annamarie Slavik and Syanna DeLaCruz; his grandchildren, Amaya, Aliyah, Alaina, Davina, Joshua and Miracle; and his siblings, Richard, Santos, Mario DeLaCruz and Clara DeLaCruz. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
