He was loved and cherished by many people including: his adoptive father Ernest (Evelene Chrivia); his sister Ann Cook (Gavin) of Houghton Lake; his nieces, Amanda Bonacci-Brisendine and Angela Bonacci-Bell of Houghton Lake; and his stepchildren, Patty Hutson of Mt Pleasant, Ray'Butch'Hutson of Shepherd and Ginny Miller of Lowell. He was also cherished by nieces/nephews, step grandchildren, grandnieces/nephews and many close friends.
