Clara Mae Quillen Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Clara Mae Quillen of Mount Pleasant, Michigan, who passed away on December 28, 2024, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles A. Schafer and Anna M. Schafer (Thielen); her children, William Quillen, Brenda Quillen and Rebecca Quillen; and her siblings, Bernie Schafer, Eugene Schafer, Virgil Schafer, Dolores Frick, Theresa Clark and Martha.
She is survived by: her children, Linda Lundquist (Sid) of Lansing, Martin Quillen (Connie) of Clio, Charles Quillen of Mt. Pleasant and Joseph Quillen of Dimondale; her grandchildren, Kevin Lundquist (Danielle), Ross Lundquist (Nicole), Ryan Lundquist (Gina), George Quillen (Kari), Frank Quillen (Jacky) and Glen Quillen; her great grandchildren, Landry, Eva, Grant, Winston, Jake and Abby; and her brothers, Steve Schafer (Irene), Philip Schafer (Judy) and Willard Schafer (Shirley).
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, January 3rd 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM. A prayer was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 at 7:00 PM at the Charles R. Lux Family Funeral Home & Cremation Services (2300 S Lincoln Rd, Mt Pleasant, MI 48858). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church (302 S Kinney Ave, Mt Pleasant, MI 48858). A reception was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Lincoln Reception Center (2300 S Lincoln Rd, Mt Pleasant, MI 48858).
Memorial contributions may be made to Sacred Heart Church or VFW Post 3033.
